1 Month to the 2025 Atlantic Hurricane Season

The US Hurricane Season is only 1 month away. Hurricane names are reused every 6 years and so 2025 shares names with 2019, with a notable exception.

In August 2019, Hurricane Dorian devastated the Bahamas as a powerful Category 5 storm, becoming one of the most intense natural catastrophes ever recorded in the region.

Its impact was so profound that the name “Dorian” has been retired from this, and future, year’s hurricane list.

Are you prepared for another Dorian?

Learning from the past is crucial. Understanding where exposures lie, taking proactive action, and managing risk early are essential steps for a stronger, more resilient response.

MAPTYCS empowers risk professionals to map property locations against forecasted storm paths, run detailed what-if scenarios, and identify vulnerabilities before the first storm clouds gather.

Don’t wait until the winds pick up – start preparing now.
